This was definitely the .Net overview book I was looking for. I learned a ton and was generally pretty satisfied. However, having read each chapter 2-3 times, taken extensive notes, worked through all the questions and some of the labs, I did not pass the exam the first time. I was close. When reading many of the questions I felt as if the topic had only been briefly covered in the text. This book will get you ready for the exam 70% of the way. It covers the basics very well. Using the accompanying CD for exam practices and reviewing material based on the questions asked, will get you another 10 to 15% ready. Complete your preparation with MSDN for in depth explanation and exam preps software for practices will get you ready.

I had the previous version of this book, while a later release there were still a few errors here and there.
Generally I would say if you are studying for this exam, then you should get this book.

So far so good, the code examples work and the author(s) cover a broad range of topics. As this point I am on chapter 9 and have not yet taken the exam so I cannot fully rate the benefits of this book.
