Summary:
For individuals who understand IBM System z I/O concepts, and can demonstrate knowledge of Brocade FICON Director and switching SAN components. You must be able to design, install, configure, maintain, manage, and troubleshoot Brocade hardware and software products for local and metro distance (100 km) environments.

Initial Requirements:
You must pass the Brocade Certified Architect for FICON Exam ($150). The exam consists of 55 questions and has a 90 minute time limit. A passing score of 63% is required.

It is recommended you have six months work experience associated with FICON; experience with software applications including Enterprise Fabric Manager Connectivity (EFCM), Fabric Manager, and Web Tools; and experience with Brocade B- and M-Series products.
Training is available but not required.

Continuing Requirements:
Brocade certifications are version specific, so your certification is on a specific product version and thus will never expire.
