Certification Summary:
Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP, formerly Certified Disaster Recovery Planner CDRP) is designed for the planner with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a business continuity / disaster recovery planner.
Initial requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of significant practical experience in business continuity or disaster recovery planning in five of the subject matter areas of the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). Must supply two references documenting each area of your experience. Must pass exam ($500). Passing score is % or better. You must also complete a CBCP application, which includes references ($350).
Continuing requirements:
Must pay an annual maintenance fee of $100.
