Certified Functional Continuity Professional (CFCP)

Certification Summary:
For individuals wiith a minimum of two years of experience, who have passed the Qualifying Exam but not at the level necessary to apply for the CBCP certification, and/or who specialize in a defined, functional area such as risk analysis, data recovery, human relations, etc.

Initial requirements:
Must achieve a score of 75% or better on exam ($500). There is also an application fee of $350. You must also possess at least two years of significant practical experience in five of the Subject Areas of the Professional Practices for Business Continuity Planners. At least two of the five selected subject areas must include: subject area #3: Business Impact Analysis; subject area #4: Developing Business Continuity Strategies; subject area #6: Developing and Implementing Business Continuity Plans; or subject area #8: Maintaining and Exercising Business Continuity Plans.6 This enterprise wide experience must have occurred within a ten-year period from your application date

Continuing requirements:
The yearly maintenance fees for the CFCP certification is $100.
