For entry level Web designers who wish to demonstrate vendor neutral Web design expertise.

Initial requirements: certification training requirement

You must pass 2 exams ($125/each): the CIW Site Development Foundations exam and the CIW Site Designer exam. These are 2 of the 3 exams required to earn the CIW Master Site Designer designation. Passing the foundations exam earns you the foundations exam will earn you the CIW Associate designation along the way. You must also agree to the CIW certification agreement. Although this certification is billed as vendor-neutral, the second exam does include coverage of Microsoft Front Page, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Homesite, among other topics.
