Certification Summary:
For individuals who handle the day-to-day administration of an installed Novell networking product, and provide direct support to users. First step toward CNE.

Initial requirements:
There are two paths to choose from: NetWare 6 and Novell Open Enterprise Server for Netware.

For Novell Open Enterprise Server for NetWare, you must pass the Foundations for Novell Open Enterprise Server for NetWare exam ($125).

For NetWare 6 you must pass the Foundations of Novell Networking: NetWare 6 exam ($125).

Training is available but not required.

Continuing requirements:
From time to time, Novell Training Services may require you to take an exam to keep current on the latest solutions and technologies. These exams are considered a Continuing Certification Requirement (CCR), which keep your skills up-to-date and keep your certification valuable in the marketplace.
