For security professionals who want to focus on specific Check Point technologies or products, and achieve recognition as a certified Check Point expert by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and proficiency.
Initial requirements:
There are 3 CPCS paths to choose from: IPS-1, Connectra, and Interspect NGX. Some CPCS certifications have prerequisites that must be met prior to taking the CPCS exam ($200). Training is available but not required.
Continuing requirements:
Current certifications include those for the current product release and the version immediately prior to the current release. After that you will lose access to your certification benefits.
