Certification Summary:
For individuals who are responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco Data Center products to maintain a highly scalable, efficient, high performing Data Center Networking environment.

Initial requirements: certification training requirement

You must first hold Cisco's CCNA (Network Associate) certification. You must also have completed the Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI), and Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN) courses. Then you must pass one additional exam ($125) - Cisco Data Center Networking Infrastructure Support.

Continuing requirements:
Must recertify every 2 years by passing the current version of the Specialist exams or pass a current CCIE written exam.
