Certification Summary:
For individuals who configure, implement and support of wireless LANs, specifically those networks using Cisco equipment. With a CCNA Wireless certification, network professionals can support a basic wireless network on a Cisco WLAN in a SMB to enterprise network. This includes information and practice activities to prepare them for configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting basic tasks of a Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise networks.
Initial requirements:
You must have a valid CCNA or CCIE certification and pass the Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials exam ($250). The exam is 90 minutes long and cosists of 65 questions. Training is available but not required.
Continuing requirements:
Certification is valid for three years. To recertify, pass a CCNA Concentration exam (wireless, security, voice), or pass any 642 – XXX professional level or Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams), or pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam.
