Certification Summary:
For individuals who are responsible for configuring VPNs across shared public networks using Cisco IOS Software and Cisco VPN 3000 Series Concentrator technologies.

Initial requirements: certification training requirement

You must first hold CCNA certification. You must then pass two additional exams: Securing Cisco Network Devices (SND) and Cisco Secure Virtual Networks (CSVPN). Exams cost $125 each. You must also sign the Cisco Career Certifications Agreement.

Continuing requirements:
Must recertify every two years by taking the then current exam.
