For individuals who wish to demonstrate the ability to successfully install, configure and support solutions with Cisco wireless products advanced feature set, based upon a validated understanding of WLAN 802.11a,b and g radio technology standards, Radio Frequency (RF), and antenna theory.

Initial requirements: certification training requirement

You must first hold Cisco's CCNA certification. Then you must pass the Cisco Wireless LAN Fundamentals exam.

Continuing requirements:
Must recertify every two years by passing the then current Wireless certification exam.
