Certification Summary:
For individuals with a foundation in disaster recovery principles, including preparation of a disaster recovery plan, assessment of risks in the enterprise, development of policies, and procedures, and understanding of the roles and relationships of various members of an organization, implementation of the plan, and recovering from a disaster. EDRPs can identify vulnerabilities and take appropriate countermeasures to prevent and mitigate failure risks for an organization.
Initial requirements:
You must pass the EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional Exam ($250). The exam is 2 hours long and consists of 50 multiple choice questions. A passing score of 70% is required. The exam is administered online via Prometric Prime.
Continuing requirements:
Each member must earn 120 credits within a period of three years. You must clock in at least 20 credits per year.
