Certification Summary:
Supported by the IT Governance Institute (ITGI), this certification is for professionals who have a significant management, advisory or assurance role relating to the governance of IT.
Initial requirements:
You must first prove at least 5 years of expereience and then pass the CEGIT exam. This exam will first be available in December 2008.
Continuing requirements:
To retain certification, you must:
Attain and report an annual minimum of twenty (20) continuing professional education hours, submit annual continuing professional education maintenance fees to ISACA international headquarters in full, attain and report a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) continuing professional education hours for a three-year reporting period, respond and submit required documentation of continuing professional education activities if selected for the annual audit
