Certification Summary:
For individuals who use Java's power to build portable, secure business and commerce applications and Web sites. The Java programming language offers unprecedented functionality for secure, architecture-neutral, object-oriented applications.

Initial requirements:
You must successfully complete three core courses and one elective and their associated exams. The core courses are: Java Programming ($2790), Java and XML Application Development ($2790) and Developing Java Web Applications ($2790).

The electives to choose from are: Best Practices in Java Programming ($2790), Developing Enterprise Java Applications with Spring and Hibernate ($2790), Struts 1 for Enterprise Java Web Development ($2790), Building XML Web Services with Java ($2790), Building Java Enterprise Applications with Design Patterns ($2790), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) ($2390), Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Using UML ($3090), User and System Requirements for Successful Software Development ($2790), Hands-On XSL ($2390), Java Enterprise Edition 5 ($2790) and Struts 2 for Enterprise Java Web Development ($2790).
