Certification Summary:
For individuals who train security professionals to analyze the security posture of a network exhaustively and recommend corrective measures authoritatively.
Initial requirements:
You must first achieve Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH - $250) certification and EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA - $300) certification. Then you must also fill out a LPT application ($500), including a criminal background check, agree to the EC-Council Code of Ethics and complete LPT training.
Continuing requirements:
The validity of the license for the penetration tester expires after 2 years. The penetration tester can apply for renewal of license providing payment of 250 dollars to EC-Council.
