Certification Summary:
This certification is for the experienced, master level disaster recovery planner, with at least five years of industry experience.
Initial requirements:
Must have acquired 5 years of significant practical experience in business continuity or disaster recovery planning within the last 10 years. Must pass the MBCP exam ($350). Must complete either a masters case study ($250) examination (passing score is 75%) or directed research. Case study exam lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours and requires written responses. You must also submit an application ($300)
Continuing requirements:
Must earn 80 "continuing education points" over a 2 year period. Must pay annual maintenance fee of $100.
