Certification Summary:
For individuals who wish to demonstrate expertise in using specific Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Microsoft Project. Available at Core and Expert levels. This program is administered by CertiPort. The program addresses Office products through Office 2003.
Initial requirements:
To earn the Microsoft Office Specialist certification you must pass one of the following specialist exams: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or Outlook.
To earn the Microsoft Office Expert certification you must pass either the Word Expert exam or the Excel Expert exam.
To earn the Microsoft Office Master certification you must pass the Word Expert, Excel Expert and PowerPoint exams. You must also pass either the Access or Outlook exam.
Exams are $75 each, however, the testing center may charge you a fee for administering the exam.
