For individuals who wish to demonstrate that they have the skills to make use of all the features of MySQL that are needed to develop and maintain applications that use MySQL for back-end storage.

Initial requirements: certification training requirement

You must pass two exams: MySQL Developer I and MySQL Developer II. Each exam costs $200. There is also a one exam upgrade path for those who hold MySQL 4 Core certification.
