Certification Summary:
For individuals who wish to demonstrate skills in a focused area such as Oracle on Linux, SQL, Siebel, Hyperion, PeopleSoft and PeopleTools. There is also a Consultant expert certification available. The Expert designations are not part of the existing Oracle hierarchy of associate, professional, and master tiers but rather stand alone as distinct specializations.
Initial requirements:
Numerous tracks are available focused on specific products and specific functions such as PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, Oracle on Linux, Windows SQL, Hiberion and Siebel. Primarily, these are 1 exam certifications, however, some do require training and/or prior certification. These are really specialization certifications.
Continuing requirements:
Oracle will periodically announce requirements for recertification based on the release of new products and upgrades.
