For individuals who administer wireless networks. Level 1 of the 4 level Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) program. CWNA covers a broad range of wireless LAN topics focused on 802.11 wireless technology rather than products of specific vendors
Initial requirements:
Must pass CWNA exam ($175), which consists of 90 questions covering WLAN security, WLAN concepts, networking concepts, and wireless standards, and additional topics.
Continuing requirements:
You must recertify every 3 years by one of two methods: either retake the then current CWNA exam, or earn the next level of certification in the CWNP program.
