For individuals who wish to demonstrate expertise in the area of wireless network security.

Initial requirements: certification training requirement

Must first earn CWNA certification. Next you must pass the CWSP exam, which covers hardware, software, protocols, procedures, and design techniques used in reducing wireless LAN security risks. Passing score is 70%. The exam costs $225.

Continuing requirements:
You must recertify every two years by one of two methods: either retake the then current CWSP exam, or earn the next level of certification in the CWNP program.
