Certification Summary:
For software developers and maintainers who consistently deliver products that meet user and system requirements and are on time and within budget. Effective participation within a development or maintenance team requires an in-depth understanding of how the phases of the software life cycle work together. The application of sound engineering practices within and between development and maintenance activities ensures an effective software production effort.

Initial requirements:
You must successfully complete three core courses and one elective and their associated exams. The core courses are: User and System Requirements for Successful Software Development ($2790), Introduction to Software Engineering: Skills for Success ($2790) and Software Testing Foundation: A Comprehensive Hands-On Introduction ($2790).

The electives to choose from are: Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Using UML ($3090), Software Quality Assurance ($2790), Software Change, Configuration and Release Management ($2390), Project Management for Software Development ($2790), Relational Database Design, Tools and Techniques ($2790), UML 2 ($2790), Business Process Reengineering for Competitive Advantage ($2790) and Technical Writing ($2790).

Standard tuition costs are based on the length of the course. Discount tuition packages are available.
