Certification Summary:
This entry-level certification validates core knowledge of convergence industry standards and protocols, infrastructure, signaling, basic telephony, Voice over IP (VoIP), topology convergence, and the skills required to perform jobs related to these technologies. It is intended as a stepping stone toward product-specific and vendor-specific convergence technologies certifications. CTP is accepted as an equivalent to the Avaya Certified Associates core exam among others.
Initial requirements:
First you must complete and submit the candidate certification agreement found on the CTP Web site. It can be completed online and is separate from any agreement you may receive at the testing center.
