Summary:
For individuals who have experience with BlackBerry enterprise server and BlackBerry smartphones. You should be able to support an enterprise-based BlackBerry solution, including the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and associated components.

Initial Requirements:
You must pass 2 exams: Supporting BlackBerry Devices in an Enterprise Environment, and either Supporting a BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0 in an IBM Lotus Domino Environment, OR Supporting a BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0 in a Microsoft Exchange Environment. Exams are $150 each.
Training is available but not required.

Continuing Requirements:
BlackBerry re-certification requirements are tied to new product releases and product retirement schedules. When an exam retires, it can no longer be used to earn a certification, but individuals who already hold the certification continue to have valid certifications until the exam moves into the expiration phase. Typically, an upgrade exam will be available during this time. Sometime after retirement, an exam will expire, and individuals who hold the certification and have not updated will no longer be considered certified. BlackBerry will notify you via email if an exam related to your certification retires or expires.
