Summary:
For network designers who can produce a blueprint for an integrated, large-scale, complex, global network and can translate business parameters and objectives into functional requirements for a network. The Cisco Certified Architect recognizes architectural expertise and is highest level of accreditation achievable within the Cisco Career Certification program.

Initial Requirements:
You must hold a valid Cisco Certified Design (CCDE) certification.

You must submit a resume, a summary of an architecture project, and a fee of $3,750. You will then be assessed by Architect Board members appointed by Cisco, who will decide if you qualify to proceed to the board review.

If approved via Step One, above, you must submit a final payment of $11,250 to receive the necessary materials to prepare a network solution and schedule your board review where you will defend it. If you pass the board review, you can become a Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr). Board exams are held twice a year.

Continuing Requirements:
You must continue to successfully contribute to and participate on future Board Reviews in order to maintain and recertify your Cisco Certified Architect Certification and all of your existing certifications.
