For individuals who can secure networks from unauthorized activity. You should have knowledge of network security and firewalls, and their application to most enterprise networks. You must hold the CIW Web Security Associate certification to earn the higher-level, CIW Web Security Specialist and CIW Web Security Professional certifications.
This certification was formerly called CIW Security Essentials.
Initial Requirements:
You must pass the CIW Web Security Associate exam ($150) and accept the CIW Certification Agreement. The exam consists of 62 questions and has a 90 minute time limit. A passing score of 76% is required.
