For individuals who have advanced-level competency in enterprise security; risk management; research and analysis; and integration of computing, communications, and business disciplines
Initial Requirements:
You must pass the CASP exam ($379). The exam has a 150 minute time limit and consists of a maximum of 80 questions. The exam is not scored on a scale, but pass/fail only.
The CompTIA CASP credential is accredited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Continuing Requirements:
Certifications earned on or after January 1, 2011, are valid for 3 years. To renew your certification, you must earn 75 CEUs and paying an annual fee of $49.
Certifications earned before 2011 are considered valid for life.
