Initial Requirements:
You must pass the Network+ exam ($253). The exam contains 100 questions and has a 90 minute time limit. A passing score of 720 is required. Training is available but not required.
The CompTIA Network+ certification is accredited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Continuing Requirements:
Certifications earned on or after January 1, 2011, are valid for 3 years. To renew your certification, you must earn 30 CEUs and paying an annual fee of $49.
Certifications earned before 2011 are considered valid for life.
