Summary:
Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP, formerly Certified Disaster Recovery Planner CDRP) is designed for the planner with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a business continuity / disaster recovery planner.

Initial Requirements:
You must have at least 2 years of significant practical experience in business continuity or disaster recovery planning in five of the subject matter areas of the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). First, you must pass the DRII Qualifying exam ($550) with a minimum score of 75%.You must then complete the CBCP application ($400) and supply two references documenting each area of your experience.

Continuing Requirements:
Must pay an annual maintenance fee of $125 and earn 80 continuing educational activity points (CEAPs) over a two year period.
