Supported by the IT Governance Institute (ITGI), this certification is for professionals who have a significant management, advisory or assurance role relating to the governance of IT.

Initial Requirements:
First, you must register for the CGEIT exam - Early Registration is $415 for Members and $545 for Non-Members; Final Registration is $465 for Members and $595 for Non-Members.You must then pass the CGEIT exam and apply for certification. You must be able to prove Five (5) or more years of experience managing, serving in an advisory or oversight role, and/or otherwise supporting the governance of the IT-related contribution to an enterprise, adhere to the ISACA Code of Professional Ethics, and agree to comply with the CGEIT Continuing Education Policy.

Continuing Requirements:
To retain certification, you must:>
Attain and report an annual minimum of twenty (20) continuing professional education hours, submit annual continuing professional education maintenance fees to ISACA international headquarters in full, attain and report a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) continuing professional education hours for a three-year reporting period, respond and submit required documentation of continuing professional education activities if selected for the annual audit and Comply with ISACA Code of Professional Ethics.
