For individuals who want to learn basic database management system concepts as well as basic SQL. This certification was formerly known as Sun Certified MySQL Associate (SCMA).
Initial Requirements:
You must pass the MySQL Certified Associate exam ($195). The exam has a 90 minute time limit and consists of 50 questions. A passing score of 60% is required. Training is available but not required.
Continuing Requirements:
You are expected to update your certification to reflect the current production version of MySQL on a regular basis.
