Summary:
For individuals who have knowledge in key areas of PL/SQL design and tuning to ensure the most efficient interface with the database and other applications.
Initial Requirements:
You must pass one of the following exams: Introduction to Oracle9i SQL exam ($125), Oracle Database SQL Expert exam ($195), or Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I exam ($125). You must then pass either the Program with PL/SQL exam ($195), or the Oracle Database 11g: Program with PL/SQL exam ($195). Finally, you must pass the Oracle 11g Advanced PL/SQL exam ($195).
If you already hold the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate certification, you simply need to pass the Oracle Advanced PL/SQL exam ($195).
Training is available but not required.
Continuing Requirements:
Oracle will periodically announce requirements for recertification based on the release of new products and upgrades.
