Summary:
For individuals who install, configure and administer a Cloud environment using vCloud Director and related components.
Initial Requirements:
Unless you already hold VCP5-DCV certification, you must attend a qualifying course offered by VMware or an authorized reseller. At our last check, there were two course options:
- vCloud Director: Install, Configure, Manage
- VMware vCloud: Deploy and Manage the VMware Cloud [V1.5]
You also must pass the VCP-Cloud exam ($225). The VCP-Cloud exam covers both data center virtualization and infrastructure as a service topics.
If you already hold VMware VCP5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV), you don't have to attend the training.
