ISACA’s Latin America CACS Conference Tackles Cybersecurity, Audit and Governance Challenges


Rolling Meadows, IL, USA (14 June 2016)—Audit, security, risk and governance professionals from around the world will convene in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to examine the challenges and opportunities they face, as well as the transformational role they play in their organizations. ISACA’s Latin America Computer Audit, Control and Security (LatinCACS) Conference, taking place 19-20 September 2016, will gather together global experts to discuss solutions and strategies in assurance, risk and security, including how these professionals can advance their careers and impact their enterprises.


ISACA, a global association serving IT audit, risk, governance and cybersecurity professionals, including more than 140,000 members and certification holders in 180 countries, will offer more than 30 sessions in four tracks at LatinCACS:

LatinCACS attendees will hear from the following renowned keynote speakers, who will share their expertise in innovation and technology trends:


  • C.P.C. Juan Manuel Portal, Auditor Superior de la Federación de México and president of the Organización Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Entidades Fiscalizadoras Superiores (OLACEFS) 2016-2018.

  • Julio Jolly, socio director and partner of Global Advisory Solutions, Panamá, where he leads projects related to corporate governance, risk and compliance, internal audit and control, IT management, fraud, business continuity.

  • Adrian Eduardo Acosta, digital crime officer with INTERPOL’s Digital Crime Center at the Regional Bureau in Buenos Aires, Argentina.


Pre- and post-conference workshops will offer hands-on training on audit, risk and security tools and techniques. Additionally, a cybersecurity workshop will help attendees prepare for the CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate exam.
