Microsoft Combines Education and Certification Divisions

Microsoft is uniting its Learn and Learning labels. Our last item this week is a sort of IT certification housekeeping tidbit. Microsoft, in an apparent attempt to reduce redundancy and curb confustication, is bringing together its Learn and Learning divisions. The move to fold Learning (which formerly housed to Microsoft certification program) into Learn (which up until now has focused on education and training resources directly related to Microsoft technologies) has been in progress over the past year, with the final touches scheduled to be completed by June 30. None of the information current available under the Microsoft Learning umbrella will be lost, as noted thusly by Microsoft: "Pages moving to Microsoft Learn will maintain the details, but page formatting will change slightly to improve your experience and to make it easier to find content." Microsoft has been an IT certification leader since the earliest days of the IT certification era.
