CCIE Written Beta Opportunity Extended a Few More Days, SP Written Released

The beta version of the new CCIE Security written exam has been extended through February 6. This beta costs $50 and follows the blueprint you can find on Cisco's website.

In other Cisco exam news, a comprehensive written exam for the CCIE Service Provider track is now live. As of February 1, 2007, this is the only service provider exam that will qualify you to take the hands on lab exam. For more information, visit the CCIE SP certification page.

Citrix Retroactively Modifies Scoring for Exam 456

Citrix has announced that it will retroactively lower the passing score for Exam 456: Citrix Access Suite 4.0: Build/Test. Through additional analysis of the exam, it was determined that the passing score should more appropriately be set at 56 instead of 62. Anyone who has been impacted by this change will be contacted by Citrix by February 15, 2007.

Early Registration Deadline for CISA/CISM Exams Approaching

If you're planning on sitting for the popular Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) exams, the first of two exam dates available this year is coming up fast. To get the best price, you'll need to register by February 14 for the exam on June 9. You can save an additional $50 by registering online through the ISACA website.

IBM Websphere Portal 6 Development Exam Arrives

Lotus has announced the release of a new exam and corresponding designation for individuals who work with Websphere Portal 6. The new designation, IBM Certified Solution Developer - IBM Websphere Portal 6.0, requires passing a single exam. You can find full information on how to prepare on IBM's exam blueprint page.
