Certification Watch Archives

Welcome to the GoCertify Certification Watch Archives, where you can find back issues of our IT certification newsletter almost (but not quite) all the way back to the first edition.

Researching old stuff with magnifying glassHowdy, stranger. If you've wandered all the way back here, then you must have quite an interest in IT certification, and all of the ways in which the IT certification industry has grown, changed, and persevered down through the decades. We catalog bits and pieces of that evolution each week.

GoCertify has been cranking out Certification Watch for more than 15 years. That's longer than Taylor Swift has been famous. (No joke: Ms. Swift's big break was the release of the eponymous debut album Taylor Swift on Oct. 24, 2006. The first Certification Watch rolled off the digital presses in 2002.)

Since 2013, or therabouts, Certification Watch has run once a week (setting aside the occasional service interruption to accommodate vacations and various unforeseen absences) on Wednesdays. It used to double as GoCertify's official newsletter, but that's a whole different animal these days.

The newsletter is called Certification Update, runs twice per month on the second and fourth Wednesdays, and takes in content from all sectors of GoCertify. If you'd like to receive the newsletter, please jump back to the home page and enter your e-mail address in the box at the top right corner of the page.

To get back to Certification Watch: we have a bunch of its former issues available here if you'd like to peruse them. Just remember that all of this, despite having been breaking news in its time, is probably no great shakes in the present moment.

If you're on a present-centered voyage of discovery and exploration, then there's not much for you to find here. If, on the other hand, you're digging back look for something in the historical record, then welcome. Please search away, and enjoy your visit!
