Planet3 Wireless Cancels Plans for CWNI, adds CWAP Title

On March 2nd, 2004, Planet3Wireless cancelled its plans to offer the Certified Wireless Network Integrator (CWNI) title, which was slated for release this year. Instead, the objectives planned for the CWNI have been merged into the CWNA and CWSP certifications.

Planet3 has also created a new certification title: Certified Wireless Analysis Professional (CWAP). The CWAP is an advanced certification for individuals who analyze and troubleshoot wireless LAN systems. Candidates for this title must first hold Planet3's CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator) title, then pass the CWAP exam, which is currently available in beta format.
