New Macromedia ColdFusion CertificationMacromedia has recently launched the Certified ColdFusion MX 7 Developer Certification. To become certified you must pass a multiple choice exam that includes approximately 66 questions. You must score at least 70% to pass. Individuals who score 85% or better will be awarded Advanced ColdFusion MX 7 Developer status. Testing is through VUE. The US exam price is $150. Citrix Launches Access Suite 4.0 CCA TracksCitrix education has announced the release of two new CCA tracks in support of Citrix Access Suite 4.0. The first, Citrix Certified Administrator for Citrix Presentation Server 4.0, requires candidates to take the e-learning course CTX-1455AW: Common Management Platform Administration and pass the assessment given at the end of the course. You must also pass exam 256 - Citrix Presentation Server 4.0: Administration.The second new track, CCA for Citrix Password Manager 4.0, requires the same e-learning course and assessment as for the other track, but a different test: exam 326 - Citrix Password Manager 4.0: Administration. The course is slated for release this month, and the new exams are listed as "available soon" on the Citrix Web site.
New Mac OS X v10.4 Help Desk Exam Coming SoonApple will release a new version of its Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist (ACHDS) exam in late May of this year. The current exam, which covers Mac OS X v10.3 will continue to be available through December 2005. The exam price is $250. For more on ACHDS certification see GoCertify's ACHDS page.
Juniper Networks - Intrusion Detection Track Now AvailableThe Juniper Networks technical certification program intrusion detection & prevention (JNCIA-IDP) exam is now available. This exam tests your understanding of basic Internet and security technology, and of Juniper Networks intrusion detection and prevention products. More News on Novell Certified Linux Engineer 9In a previous issue we announced the new Certified Linux Engineer 9 (CLE 9) certification from Novell. Since then a few more details have become available: Novell will be retiring the current CLE on January 1, 2007. The current CLE practicum will be discontinued on September 1, 2005, and current CLEs will have until December 31, 2006 to upgrade their certification to the new CLE 9 certification.
