Adam Alter to Deliver Keynote Address at CompTIA ChannelCon

Downers Grove, Ill., May 5, 2015 — CompTIA today announced Professor Adam Alter will keynote ChannelCon 2015, the premier networking and training event for today’s leading and emerging IT vendors, distributors and channel partners. The renowned  psychologist, speaker and best-selling author of “Drunk Tank Pink” will address an audience of more than 1,000 channel partners at the IT association’s annual event themed “Minds in Motion,” taking place Aug. 3-5 at the historic Hilton Chicago located in downtown Chicago.                 

 

Online registration for ChannelCon is open and available to CompTIA premier members, registered users and non-members at http://www.comptia.org/channelcon/registration. Media and IT industry analysts are encouraged to attend ChannelCon to connect with industry Channel Chiefs and ChannelChangers, as well as learn about the latest market research, business trends and technologies influencing the IT channel and changing the way business gets done. Keynote to Spotlight Three Paths to Better Understanding Customers Closely tying to the event theme, Alter's keynote, "Three Paths to Understanding Your Customers," will explore how businesses, and channel partners in particular, can better understand and predict the behavior of their customers.

 

Tapping into his repertoire of studies on consumer psychology, Alter will walk the audience through how and why customers make purchasing decisions and share what companies can do to maximize the appeal of their products, services and solutions. Alter will present a number of interventions showing companies how to communicate more effectively and compellingly with customers and prospects.
