BICSI Launches Enhanced Training Delivery via BICSI Learning Academy

Tampa, Florida, August 27, 2014—BICSI, the international association supporting the information and communications technology (ICT) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment, is pleased to announce the re-branding of its Professional Development offerings into the new BICSI Learning Academy. The launch of this multi-faceted method of training delivery is dedicated to the growth and success of BICSI's most important asset: its students.

Education is at the very core of BICSI. The BICSI Learning Academy allows the organization to provide better, more focused training to fit its customer's needs. Made up of three distinct facets designed to work in harmony, BICSI Learning Academy lets students choose where and how they receive training.

BICSI World Headquarters
BICSI offers courses on site at its World Headquarters location in Tampa,
Florida, USA. The training area is designed with students in mind and includes
three classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art, hands-on labs, which are
continuously updated to reflect real-world scenarios. Course topics offered
include design, installation and project management.

The entire BICSI training suite is also available at facilities around the world.
BICSI takes great care to schedule classes in areas most convenient to its
members, such as major metropolitan areas and conference sites. These
facilities are set up with a mobile lab and technical equipment to provide an
educational experience comparable to that at BICSI World Headquarters. BICSI
Local also includes on-site courses, where a BICSI Training Delivery Specialist
and course materials are sent to a company's facility in order to train multiple
employees at one time. Additionally, to increase access to quality ICT training
around the globe, BICSI created the Authorized Design Training Provider (ADTP) and Authorized Training Facility (ATF) programs, where BICSI-certified
instructors teach BICSI courses at various locations throughout the world.

No matter the field of study, more and more training is available online. BICSI is
keeping up with this trend via its online learning platform, BICSI CONNECT. A
variety of technical and professional courses are available online, allowing
students to take BICSI courses and earn continuing education credits (CECs) on their own schedule. BICSI CONNECT provides flexibility when choosing training and is available any day of the year, any hour of the day.
"BICSI continuously strives to help ICT professionals advance in their careers, and the BICSI Learning Academy further enhances this effort," said BICSI President Michael Collins, RCDD, CCDA, NCE. "All three aspects of the BICSI Learning Academy are designed with the student in mind, providing flexibility when selecting training. We hope the launch of the BICSI Learning Academy will help to educate those already in the industry, as well as new individuals, so that we may continue to advance and mold the future of ICT."
