Information Technology Certification Council Launches Web-based Credential Clearinghouse

The Information Technology Certification Council (ITCC) today announced that it has partnered with Integral7, Inc. to create a first-of-its-kind Web-based credential clearinghouse for the IT industry. The ITCC Clearinghouse allows IT candidates, certification program managers and employers, who hire skilled IT professionals, to aggregate, validate and verify IT credentials from participating members.

With the ITCC Clearinghouse, IT professionals can manage all of their certifications using a single account. Using a single unique ID that works for all participating certifications and testing providers, IT professionals can easily aggregate certifications from multiple organizations in a single, secure report and present a full credential portfolio to employers and other parties.

The ITCC Clearinghouse also offers numerous benefits to credential sponsors who manage and administer certification programs and to employers who seek skilled IT professionals. Sponsors can reduce validation costs by eliminating manual processes and increase the value of certification to candidates by accepting other sponsors’ credentials and reducing fraud. Employers can instantly verify a candidate’s credentials, making it easier and more cost-effective to find and hire qualified candidates.

Current ITCC Clearinghouse participants include Citrix, HP, IBM and Novell. Integral7 is the market leader in providing technology driven, certification management and verification services.
