ITCC Announces the 2016 Innovation Award

November 2, 2015 -  Chicago  –  The Information Technology Certification Council (ITCC), a resource for employers, government officials, academia, and individuals seeking information about the many benefits of IT certification, has begun accepting nominations for the  2016 ITCC Innovation Award. The award celebrates IT certification industry professionals responsible for creating a product, service or initiative that positively impacts a certification candidate’s experience, a credential holder or company that employs certified IT professionals.

 

In 2015, ITCC presented Microsoft Senior Product Manager of Certification, Larry Kaye, with the award for his work on AppToCert. AppToCert is a certification program that looks to streamline the way IT professionals earn Microsoft certifications.

 

Rick Joslin, Executive Director of Certification & Training for HDI and Treasurer of ITCC, commented on the award, “We developed ITCC Innovation Award to bring awareness to products and services that are adding new value to the IT certification industry, and to recognize certification industry leaders for their innovations. By highlighting these innovations, certification providers are able to learn from the experiences of their peers to ultimately benefit our customers.”

 

Candidates must be an employee of a company or an individual who is actively involved in the IT certification industry, play an active role in the development of a product that has led to the betterment of the IT certification industry, and they must submit the completed application located on ITCC’s website. The deadline for submissions is December 11, 2015.
