CEA-CompTIA DHTI+Skill Level: Basic Status: ActiveOfficially called CEA-CompTIA DHTI+, this is for individuals who integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and comprehend the basic design concepts of electronic and digital home systems.
Convergence+Skill Level: Basic Status: ActiveFor individuals who wish to demonstrate expertise in analysis, implementation, and management of data, voice, and multimedia convergence applications.
HTI+Skill Level: Basic Status: DiscontinuedFor technicians who install and troubleshoot integrated residential subsystems. This includes the integration and distribution of multiple subsystems, including: Communications Network; Entertainment Network; Security Network; Home Control Network; Services and Subscription; Commercial Wiring/Cabling and Computer Network. i-Net+Skill Level: Basic Status: DiscontinuedFor individuals who are hands-on specialists responsible for implementing and maintaining Internet, Intranet and Extranet infrastructure and services as well as development of related applications. Retiring December 31, 2007
Linux+Skill Level: Basic Status: ActiveDemonstrates foundation level Linux operating system proficiency.
PDI+Skill Level: Basic Status: PendingFor entry-level service and support technicians involved in the installation, connectivity, maintenance, repair and support of devices in printing and document imaging technologies. Planned for 1st quarter of 2008.
RFID+Skill Level: Basic Status: ActiveFor individuals who work with RFID.
Security+Skill Level: Basic Status: ActiveFor individuals who are foundation-level IT security workers. This vendor-neutral certification covers such topics as firewalls, viruses, user authentication and encryption.
e-Biz+Skill Level: Intermediate Status: ActiveFor technical and non-technical individuals who work in an e-Business environment. Covers the business concepts of Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Electronic Commerce and IT infrastructure. Originally was Gartner e-Business certification. Only available in Japanese and Korean.
Network+Skill Level: Intermediate Status: ActiveThis certification is for networking technicians with 18-24 months of experience.
Project+Skill Level: Intermediate Status: ActiveFor individuals who lead and manage projects. This used to be Information Technology specific, but was broadened in 2004.
Server+Skill Level: Intermediate Status: ActiveFor individuals who wish to demonstrate expertise with advanced PC hardware issues such as RAID, SCSI, multiple CPUs, SANs, and more.
CTT+Skill Level: Advanced Status: ActiveCompTIA CTT+™ Certification is a cross-industry credential recognizing excellent instructional abilities. A CTT+ certification demonstrate core competencies that include instructor knowledge and credibility, classroom performance, and effective communication and presentation skills.
