(ISC)2 Executives Join Technical Advisory Boards

Clearwater, Fla. (June 15, 2020) — (ISC)² executives have been invited to join two technical advisory boards related to the association's successful digital transformation projects.

What: Key product providers Diligent and D2L have sought out members of the (ISC)² management team to help guide their ongoing product development. By providing insights on how (ISC)² and their teams use such technology platforms, these executives will help to drive the evolution of these products to enable increased efficiency and effectiveness of (ISC)² employees, while enhancing value to the association's candidates, members and constituents.

Who:

• Bruce Beam, CISSP, CIO and Vice President, was invited to become a member of the Diligent Technical Advisory Board. Diligent's global board portal software is used by (ISC)² to make meetings between its corporate officers and its Board of Directors easier, more secure and more efficient.

• Mirtha Collin, Education Director, was invited to become a member of D2L's Technical Advisory Board. D2L is the learning management system (LMS) that delivers (ISC)² Certification Training and Professional Development Institute (PDI) courses as well as other digital content. Recently, (ISC)² was one of just five organizations honored with a 2020 D2L Excellence Award for its PDI launch. The D2L Excellence Awards recognize educators, trainers, and leaders in learning engagement that have leveraged the D2L learning platform to deliver learning experiences that are innovative, collaborative or have made an extraordinary impact on learning outcomes.

(ISC)²'s Digital End-to-End Transformation (DETE) project was undertaken to move the association's IT systems to a digital-first workplace. The transformation encompassed all aspects of the enterprise and all back-office processes, including security, monitoring, infrastructure, mobile device management, BCP/DR and enterprise communications.
