Microsoft adds Security Specialties to MCSA, MCSE

Individuals who are responsible for security issues on a Microsoft Windows platform will be pleased to hear that they can now demonstrate (or advance) their security skills by choosing to specialize in security when earning the MCSA or MCSE title. To earn the MCSA: Security or MSCE: Security designation, the same core exams are required, but instead of choosing from an extensive list of electives for the final two exams, candidates must pass Exam 70-214: Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network and either Exam 70-227: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000, Enterprise Edition or CompTIA's Security+ exam.
