Microsoft Simulation Questions to Appear in March

Beginning on March 31, Microsoft will begin including simulations technology in its MCP exams. The first exams to be affected are Exam 70-290 and Exam 70-291, which earn core credit toward MCSA or MCSE on Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Simulation based versions of Exams 70-293 and 70-294 are slated for release in June 2005. Only selected items on the exam will include simulation. If you have already passed these exams you do NOT have to retake them.

Cisco Exam to Retire in May

May 27, 2005 will be the last day candidates can register for Cisco exam 642-52 RSS/FE, which is being replaced by exam 642-053 RSSE/FE. The Routing and Switching SE/FE exam is a requirement for becoming a Cisco Access Routing & Switching Specialist.

CompTIA and Apple Team up on Voucher Deal

CompTIA and Apple have joined forces to help you obtain both CompTIA Network+ and Apple certification. For a limited time, if you pass the CompTIA Network+ exam Apple will send you a voucher for 50% off any Mac OS X exam, a savings of $75. The voucher is good anytime in 2005. NetApp Certification Program Revamped

Network Appliance recently revamped its certification program, changing the structure to a 5 certification format. Among the changes, the Associate and Professional designations have returned. The current titles are: NetApp Certified Storage Associate, NetApp Certified Storage Professional, NetApp Certified Expert, NetApp Certified NetCache Administrator, and NetApp Certified NetCache Implementation Engineer.
